Hire terms & conditions.

Last updated: 22 August 2026. These terms govern the hire of a fridge or freezer trailer ("the Trailer") from Fridgewolf ("we", "us", "our") by a customer ("you", "the Hirer").

1. The contract

A booking is confirmed once payment has been taken and you have received a booking confirmation email. Fridgewolf is operated by [COMPANY NAME] Ltd(company number [PLACEHOLDER — pending Companies House registration]), registered office [PLACEHOLDER].

2. Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is the full, all-in price for the hire period and delivery to the postcode you provide, and is taken in full at the time of booking. There are no hidden charges beyond what is shown before you pay.

3. Delivery and collection

Delivery is free within 20 miles of our depot; beyond that, delivery is charged per mile as shown in your quote. Deliveries into the Congestion Charge / Greater London zone carry an additional surcharge, also shown before payment.

You must ensure safe, reasonable vehicle access to the delivery address for a trailer and towing vehicle. Self-collection and self-towing of the Trailer are not permitted — delivery and collection are carried out by Fridgewolf only.

4. Power supply

The Trailer runs from a standard 13A or 16A mains supply. It is your responsibility to ensure suitable mains power is available at the delivery address, or to arrange a suitable generator or battery supply in advance.

5. Use of the Trailer

The Trailer must be used only for its intended purpose (chilled or frozen storage) and kept reasonably clean during the hire period. You are responsible for the Trailer and its contents from delivery until collection.

6. Damage and loss

You are responsible for damage to the Trailer beyond fair wear and tear during the hire period, and for loss of or damage to Fridgewolf-supplied fittings (racking, cables, locks). Insurance for the contents you store in the Trailer is your own responsibility — Fridgewolf's insurance does not cover the goods you place inside it.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a booking using the "Manage or cancel this booking" link in your confirmation email. Refunds are calculated from the time you cancel to your booking's delivery date:

7 or more days before delivery: full refund.
Between 48 hours and 7 days before delivery: 50% refund.
Less than 48 hours before delivery, or a no-show: no refund.

If Fridgewolf needs to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control (for example severe weather or a vehicle breakdown that prevents delivery), you will receive a full refund regardless of how close to the delivery date this happens.

8. Emergency hire

Emergency bookings are subject to the same terms as standard bookings. Delivery timing for emergency hire depends on driver and trailer availability at the time of booking.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Fridgewolf's liability for any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.
