Fridge trailer hire — common questions
How much does it cost to hire a fridge trailer?
You will see an all-in price before you book, including delivery. Delivery is free within 20 miles of our depot. Beyond that it is £4 per mile, rounded to the nearest £5. Deliveries into the central London Congestion Charge zone carry an additional London surcharge to cover TfL charges.

Delivery is free within 20 miles of our depot. Beyond 20 miles it is £4 per mile, rounded to the nearest £5 — so a venue 50 miles away is £120. The price is calculated from your postcode and shown before you pay, never "POA". Deliveries into central London carry a surcharge covering the Congestion Charge.
Do fridge trailers need a special power supply?
Most fridge trailers run from a standard 13A or 16A mains supply, so they can plug into an ordinary socket at your venue. If there's no mains power on site, you'll need a generator or battery supply — tell us and we'll advise.
How long does a fridge trailer take to get cold?
A trailer delivered at ambient temperature usually takes one to two hours to reach working temperature. We pre-chill every trailer before dispatch, so ours arrives cold and ready to load.
What temperature do fridge and freezer trailers run at?
Chilled trailers typically hold between 0°C and 8°C, meeting UK food safety requirements for high-risk chilled food. Freezer trailers hold around −18°C.
How big is a fridge trailer?
We run three sizes — 2.6m, 3.0m and 4.2m internally. The 3.0m suits most weddings and mid-sized events, holding roughly 30 crates with full racking. See the full spec for each size.
